The City of Bellingham just concluded their “Essence Of Bellingham” photo competition, and one of winners was “Fairhaven Morning” by Ken Salzman. It nicely captures Taylor Street Dock, Bellingham Bay, the Alaska Ferry Terminal, and if you look carefully enough, one of our vessels – the Victoria Star 2. Mayor Dan Pike said about the competition, “”The photos entered each year show us what people love about Bellingham, displaying a rich diversity of people, places and events. We are glad so many people share their images of Bellingham each year, allowing us to enjoy them today and preserve them for future generations as well.”
