It’s great when all three resident pods of Orca whales are centered in the San Juan Islands, as they’ve been for the past 3 weeks or so. Over the last two days we’ve seen members of all three pods, a group (J Pod) just south of Lopez Island off Davidson Rocks, and K & L Pod up east of Saturna Island/East Point. It’s a little overcast this morning (7/14), but we’re already hearing reports of whales not too far from Bellingham, so once again (despite the weather) it’ll be a great day in the San Juan Islands!
