Transient Orca Whales Again (5/31)

On today’s whale watch we spotted transient Orca whales again – this time they were just south of Lopez Island. Usually the resident Orca whales (J, K & L pods) are the ones we see most often this time of the year, with transient Orcas making a rare appearance here and there. This season seems to be backwards though – it’s the transients that we’re seeing most often so far. We will be running our whale watching tours again this coming Friday through Monday (6/4 – 6/7), then begin daily service on June 11th.
