It’s a bright, beautiful day in the San Juan Islands today. With a full boat of passengers anticipating a warm, fun filled day we were excited to hear reports of a transient group of Orcas coming through the area. Sure enough, we found them just 1 1/2 hours into the trip. A group of approximately 7 Orcas was busy feeding, something you often see on Animal Planet, but it’s something completely different to see in person, in the wild. We’ll be out again tomorrow (Sunday), then we begin our daily service next weekend.
