We’ve had a couple of great days out in the San Juans, with lots of sun and warm temperatures (it’s always refreshing to be out on a boat when it’s 85 degrees out!). We’ve had good views of Minke whales over the weekend. Lots of other things to see too – lighthouses, bald eagles, seals and sea lions. The resident Orca whales have been a bit out of our range recently, but early reports this morning (Monday) say they are back, just off the west side of San Juan Island. With recent sightings of Minke whales, a humpback a few days ago, and Orcas back in the area, it’s a great time for whale watching!
