We had a great day today – the weather was halfway decent (little-to-no rain, like was in the forecast for the day). We headed up north and took a look at Spieden Island with all of it’s interesting wildlife, which can be seen fairly easily from the boat from this source. We then received reports of a transient group of Orca whales out near the US/Canadian border, just west of San Juan Island. So off we went, finding them a short time later. We had a nice look at them before heading into Friday Harbor for our 2-hour shore visit.
