While one of the main goals on our San Juan Adventure cruise is to see whales, there is lots of other wildlife that we see quite often. Bald eagles are abundant in the region, as are Steller sea lions, Harbor porpoises, Harbor seals and a variety of sea birds. Speiden Island, home of exotic wildlife such as Mouflon sheep from Corsica, fallow deer from Europe, and Sika deer from Asia after being a short-lived big game hunting spot in the early 70’s, is an island we often like to take a look at on our cruises.
