Whales & Wildlife Report – August 24th, 2013

Although there was a bit of light rain last night, it was dry all day long today and partly sunny – great conditions for whale watching in the San Juans. Today we ventured up into the Canadian Gulf Islands and were able to spend 35 minutes or so with a group of transient Orca whales.

Bird Watching Cruise Report – July 27, 2013

We left the harbor on another wonderful summer day. We cruised to Chuckanut Bay to observe the nesting Pigeon Guillemots and the Glaucous-winged gulls.
