Whale watch weekends are back in less than two weeks!

Weekends in May (4th-27th) then we're running daily for the rest of the season. The only whale watching via Bellingham, Washington.

There are good chances of seeing Bigg's Killer Whales, Humpbacks, and much more wildlife and scenery around the San Juan Islands. We also provide a lasagna lunch fresh made on board, with a full bar of beverages available.

We're finally a month from kicking off the 2024 season!
Starting with tours of Deception Pass out of La Conner during the Skagit Tulip Festival.
April 6 - April 28. Daily from Noon - 2:30.
Come see the blooming tulips, then enjoy our Dungeness crab lunch buffet included, with a full bar available.

We are frequently asked how often we actually see

We are frequently asked how often we actually see whales on our whale watching tours. The answer is almost every tour we see whales. Here's a rundown of our logged sightings from the 2023 season.
Out of 121 tours last year we logged 263 sightings:

-140 Transient Bigg's Killer Whale
-54 Humpback Whale
-25 Unidentified Killer Whale Type
-24 Gray Whale
-12 Minke Whale
-1 Southern Resident Killer Whale

A few things to note:
-The Orca sightings will usually include multiple whales from a pod traveling together, so we saw many more total.
-Conservation of our Southern Residents is really important to us. We literally go out of our way to avoid the endangered Resident Orcas. That's why we had logged almost no sightings.
-We are also careful to limit our time and space around all whales, moving on to different areas and species after an hour or so.
