Yesterday we had our first Superpod sighting, which is when we see members of all three resident pods of Orca whales (J, K and L pods) in the same spot. It was an exciting to watch they swim and frolic, an experience that normally only happens a few times each season. If you’re on the fence about doing a trip out to the San Juan Islands, now is a great time to go. The whale sightings have been consistent, and the weather should be great through the weekend.
