NBC’s Today Show is in Vancouver during the Winter Olympics, and Matt, Meredith, Ann and Al took a float plane trip to Victoria for the afternoon, taking in Afternoon Tea at the Empress Hotel and fish n’ chips along Victoria’s inner harbour. Interestingly, our vessel, the Victoria Star and float planes like the one featured in this clip share the same waters leading into the city. Oftentimes, as we approach downtown Victoria you’ll see one or two float planes fly over our boat.
