It has been an incredible week of whale watching – we’ve been seeing members of J and L resident pods of Orca whales, and yesterday we had a chance to see two Humpback whales near Hein Bank (west of San Juan Island). Earlier in the week we took a tour group on a 3 day tour of the San Juan Islands aboard the Viking Star, and had a chance to record some of the resident Orca whales on our hydrophone.
