Whales & Wildlife Report – 9/11 (Minke Whales & Dall's Porpoises)

A stunning day in the San Juans today – sun, blue skies and lots of wildlife. We have seen Minke whales and Dall’s porpoises on today’s cruise, and the day isn’t finished yet!

The Orca whales were just a bit out of our range today, but we were fortunate enough to find a Minke whale just off the south end of San Juan Island. Overall it’s been a great day in the islands so far, with a bit of sun and calm waters.
